In this interesting study conducted by Arthur Andersen with 990 online users, more than 83 percent of users will leave a site if they feel it takes too many clicks to find what they want.

The most important features cited by these users were

• Ease of use / navigation
• Fast download time
• quality of content

Remarkably, the study also mentioned that ease of use or navigation and fast download time "are considered the most important features when determining whether or not to return to a site."
