International E-mail Outpaces US

Story:

According to a United Messaging study completed at the end of 2000, there are more e-mail mailboxes in the rest of the world than in the US. They recorded a total of 439.6 million in the US and 451.5 elsewhere in the world. The number of e-mailboxes worldwide grew by 67% last year.

The study also showed that 45% of US home consumers use e-mail regularly, and two-thirds of al workers.
