What Problems Do Colorblind People Have On The Web?
Story:
In a brief article by Todd Follansbee on webword.com, a case study on colorblindness and the web is presented. The author himself has a fairly common form of colorblindness (up to 10% of males are to some degree colorblind).
He discovered early on that websites that drew raves from other designers and art directors were not usable at important points.
Analysis:
What is the main point to make with respect to colorblindness? Contrast! Make sure that your text stands out against its background no matter what colors you use.
